After listening to extreme metal music for decades, it's great to still be surprised by new music and this is the kind of stuff that truly excites us. Explore their wild, outrageous interpretation of sci-fi black metal music on their debut full length "First Contact". Band's statement: "Endspace came from a hunger to explore beyond the scope of what was possible with our death metal band Fractal Generator. After jamming and writing together for 13 years, we wanted to create something more black metal, but also to push the genre 1000 years into the future with heavy use of synthesizers and vocoders. The result is an epic, otherworldly experience that leaves you wondering what planet and what year these futuristic sounds came from! We're really excited to be working with Transcending Obscurity Records. We feel it's a great fit because they're not afraid to support unique and interesting bands that push genre boundaries. We also like that they put a ton of work into their merch offerings, and the fact that they also run a cat shelter is really cool! Can't wait for everyone to hear what we've been working on! The music on this album is dense and complex while retaining the cover of darkness. The impassioned, seething riffs light up the proceedings like fireflies buzzing around in an underground cave. The hypnotic quality of the music induces a state of pleasurable numbness where you witness an otherwise harrowing maze of constantly shifting tunes and it all seems perfectly logical and in place. With all this cacophony, which eventually feels like orchestrated symphony, varying dark shades of emotions start becoming apparent. It's clear that "End Whispers" is only as impenetrable as it is multifaceted, an album that starts making sense after a few listens and one that will make you keep coming back to it to unravel more of its intricacies. The songs are elaborately constructed, each with their share of hooks and breakdowns in addition to effective and memorable riffing. The music takes a narrative process pertaining to their original dark fantasy world, Tythorin, while being intense and violent for the most part. They draw from the classic old school death/thrash sound without sounding too derivative, in large part due to their heavy metal-inspired songwriting approach. "Damnation's Veil" is a fascinating, expressive, and most importantly, exciting album that is sure to please fans of the classic death/thrash sound as well as those who dig well-written, nuanced, and invigorating extreme metal music in general.
